What do you think will happen to you in the next 12 months? Let us know!
There are just a handful of working days remaining in 2013 and although most of us are still preoccupied with office parties and Christmas itself, thoughts are already turning towards 2014 and what it means for the British IT industry.
Analysts and vendors are already making their predictions for next year – we even saw the new acronym of BYON (Bring your own network) mentioned – while security companies have been falling over themselves to let us know what the biggest threats will be in the next 12 months.
What happens when Big Ben strikes midnight?
But we want to know what will happen to you in 2014. Will you stay where you are in your current position, or will you achieve that well-deserved promotion? Perhaps you’ll switch companies or even leave the technology sector altogether or maybe you fear (or welcome) redundancy or retirement? After all, if it can happen to Steve Ballmer, it can happen to anyone.
Whatever your hopes and fears for the next year are, we want to hear about them. After all, we aim to support the work of IT professionals and want to be able to do the best job we can. Let us know what you think by voting in the poll below.
Whatever 2014 might have in store for you, feel free to join the TechWeek Tech Club – a community of IT professionals that benefits from free research, reports, briefings, discounts to industry events and networking evenings, that helps its members do the best job they can.
